The Collaborative Research Center CRC/TRR 408 AgiMo brings together an interdisciplinary team of numerous project leaders as well as doctoral researchers from five institutions. Central coordination, structured training for qualification, and the Information Infrastructure Project aim to support all members and thus contribute to the success of the CRC.

Central Coordination
The Z project is responsible for the coordination and administration of this CRC. Together with the Management Committee and the other bodies of the CRC, we coordinate the strategic planning of the CRC and support the collaboration between projects and partners at the five partner institutions in the day-to-day operation.

RTG
Research Training Group
The objective of AgiMo's Research Training Group (RTG) is to coherently address the observed shift in professionalism in transportation sciences, caused by, e.g., digitalization and data science, by providing significant structured training and resources to strengthen the scientific and general qualifications of researchers in the early career phases, i.e., students, doctoral researchers, and postdocs. The RTG integrates into the existing graduate school system of the participating universities. It maximizes the synergies across participating universities in the training and limits the additional workload on the researchers.

INF
Information Infrastructure Project
Project INF will establish the Virtual Research Environment (VRE), which will be the common information infrastructure for this CRC. The VRE will support all projects and the cooperation between them, and it will develop (together with C3) and host the open data AgiMo digital twin. The development of the VRE and the digital twin will be based on a careful analysis of current practices and requirements from the projects in this CRC and beyond. We will also initiate activities to advance Research Data Management (RDM) practices and coordinate the usage of the TUD High Performance Computing systems. INF will also provide support and training.
